a clamp configured to open, receive a conductor, and close around the conductor; an actuator that, when actuated, opens the clamp; a testing device, operably coupled to the clamp, to measure a current flowing through the conductor for performing maintenance on a battery; and a closure sensing component that senses a closure state of the clamp indicative of whether the clamp is closed and provides a closure signal indicative of the closure state of the clamp.
