Solar Powered Energy Module

Embodiments of a solar powered energy module are provided wherein a solar powered module maybe added to a building or vehicle which is self-powered and need not be connected to the existing power system of the building or vehicle. The solar powered energy module may be utilized to power an awning or other desirable features.

1. The solar powered energy module for use with a recreational vehicle, boat or building, comprising:
a control module having at least one solar collector cell; a battery in electrical communication with said solar collector cell; a printed circuit board having a remote sensor, said battery connected to said printed circuit board; a motor for driving an awning assembly between a retracted position and an extended position, said motor in electrical communication with said printed circuit board; and, a remote control in wireless communication with said remote sensor, said remote control having at least one button for extending and retracting said awning assembly.
