PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer image receiving sheet which has good adhesion between a support and the receiving layer and hardly causes bleeding on an image formed on the receiving layer even when the thermal transfer image receiving sheet in which an image is formed on the receiving sheet is stored under high temperature and high humidity for a long period of time.SOLUTION: There is provided a thermal transfer image receiving sheet in which an intermediate layer (6) and a receiving layer (2) are provided in this order on one surface of a support (1), in which the intermediate layer contains a polyester-based polyurethane resin and a polycarbonate-based polyurethane resin.
