<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical needle which has an improved tensile strength of 1.2-1.4 times that of conventional needles and improved usability of a medical needle, suppresses occurrence of cracking in press working or bending working and occurrence of cracks in bent parts and is composed of rhenium-tungsten wire.SOLUTION: A medical needle is composed of a rhenium-tungsten wire which comprises 10-30 mass% of rhenium and the remaining mass% of tungsten and has a wire diameter D of 0.10-0.40 mm and a tensile strength T(N/mm) within the range specified by the equation (1): 6314.6×D-7869.3×D+4516.3≤T≤5047.4×D-7206.4×D+5129.2 (1).</p> |
