PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible substrate etc. capable of preventing the breakage of a line of an electric terminal even when force is given to the flexible substrate in a twist direction.SOLUTION: A flexible substrate 10 connected through an electrode connection unit to a terminal unit provided on a display device includes: a base material 13; each electrode terminal 14 formed on the base material 13 with a predetermined pitch; and a protection film 15 formed on the electrode terminal 14 to expose a region of an electrode connection unit 16 on one end side of the electrode terminal 14, which is a region on the electrode terminal 14. The shape of the boundary of an end portion on one end side of the protection film 15 is a corrugated form having a convex and a concave in a plan view of the flexible substrate 10, in which the height of at least one convex is different from the height of other convexes.
