PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular waste heat utilization device capable of securing normal operation.SOLUTION: A vehicular waste heat utilization device 1 includes a Rankine cycle circuit 10 having a pump 11, an expander 12, a condenser 13, and one or more heat exchangers 20. The vehicular waste heat utilization device 1 further includes a bypass route 41, a bypass valve 42, a valve control device 6, and a plurality of detection sensors 5. The detection sensors 5 include, at least, a pressure sensor 52 for detecting the pressure of working fluid on the outlet side of the pump 11, and a temperature sensor 511 for detecting the temperature of the working fluid on the inlet side of the expander 12. The valve control device 6 has valve opening calculating means having a map storing a relationship between a detection value for each detection sensor 5 and an adequate valve opening of the bypass valve 42, and valve opening selecting means for comparing the calculation results of the valve openings by the valve opening calculating means, obtained from the detection sensors 5, with one another and selecting the calculation result showing the largest valve opening. |
