PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeder which can adjust air flow and air pressure, and deal with many kinds of sheets.SOLUTION: A paper feeder 10 includes a blower 40 which floats a sheet by discharging an air to at least one surface of side surfaces and a front surface of a mounted sheet bundle. The blower 40 includes an air flow passage 45 connecting an air suction port 47 for taking in the air to be discharged and a blowoff port 48 for blowing the air to allow the air to pass through, an upstream fun 41 and a downstream fun 42 arranged in the air flow passage 45 in a row in the air flowing direction, a bypass flow passage 46 for allowing an air from a downstream not passing through the downstream fun 42 to pass through, an opening/closing door 43 which is arranged in the air flow passage 45 to adjust the amount of the air flowing in the bypass flow passage 46, and opening/closing door driving means 49 for driving the opening/closing door. |
