PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a structure by which durability of a cushioning member 21c assembled to an engagement salient 39c provided protrusively on an inside surface of a cam to be driven constituting a cam mechanism is improved.SOLUTION: In a tilt type steering device, both side surfaces 64, 64 of salient side protrusions 62, 62 arranged on both upper and lower end faces of an engagement salient 39c is respectively contacted with both side surfaces 65, 65 of cushioning part side protrusions 63, 63 arranged on a pair of end faces facing each other of the cushioning part and constituting the cushioning member. Thereby, turning force of the cam to drive constituting the cam mechanism in a fastening direction can be transmitted through the contact part between one side surface 64 and one side surface 65. |
