receiving, using a computer processor, a fixed price for a first user to start a multi-tiered thread and for subsequent users to join the multi-tiered thread; and receiving, using the computer processor, specification for at least two predetermined tiers of offerings for the fixed price, the specification for each of the at least two predetermined tiers of offerings comprising an offering and information on a minimum number of users required to join the multi-tiered thread to redeem the offering for said fixed price.
