In cases when an islanding-operation detection device is modularized as a separate body to a control device for controlling a power conditioner, there is no assurance that the control device immediately executes an instruction from the islanding-operation detection device. This islanding-operation detection device detects islanding operation of a power conditioner connected to a system power supply, and is provided with: a synchronization processing unit which receives or transmits a synchronization signal; and a request-signal registration unit which, in accordance with a reception or transmission of the synchronization signal by the synchronization processing unit, registers, in a storage unit capable of being accessed by a control device for controlling the power conditioner, a request signal for causing the control device to execute processing in which a current outputted from the power conditioner is made to fluctuate.
