PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce user's stress in performing main-scanning shading correction.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 forms test patterns on a sheet 110 fed from a storage space 133, and ejects the sheet. The image forming apparatus 100 feeds, from the storage space 133, the sheet 110 having once been ejected while the test patterns formed along a main scanning direction is rotated to be directed along a sheet conveyance direction. A color sensor 200 measures the test patterns on the fed sheet 110. When a printer controller 103 determines that the direction of the sheet 110 set in the storage space 133 is upside down on the basis of a result of the measurement by the color sensor 200, performs processing to rearrange the order of measurements at a plurality of positions in the main scanning direction. |
