PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of an electronic document container data file etc. in which smooth data reproduction is difficult because the versions of respective pieces of content data are different, when a data file composed of plural types of content data is to be reproduced.SOLUTION: The electronic document container data file, which is a data file to be read by a reproduction program operating on a computer, comprises a container unit capable of holding plural pieces of content data including at least electronic document data and memo data which can be edited in association with the electronic document data as contents; and a definition information holding unit for holding definition information defining the reproduction method or/and editing method of the plural contents when the contents are to be reproduced by the reproduction program.
