PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can efficiently remove BPA at low cost without requiring large-sized equipment, and a BPA adsorbent used for the method.SOLUTION: A bisphenol A adsorbent which is (A) ERp29-like polypeptide derived from hyperthermophilic archaea or (B) modified polypeptide of the polypeptide (A), and has bisphenol A adsorption ability.
