PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical air cleaner capable of suitably suppressing the intrusion of foreign matter such as dust and the like through the opening of an outlet pipe when a filter element is detached while suitably suppressing the increase of ventilation resistance.SOLUTION: An air cleaner 10 comprises: a cylindrical case 20 having a one-side bottom; a cylindrical filter element 40 housed within the case 20; and a cap 30 capable of opening or closing the opening of the case 20. The inside of the case 20 is equipped with: an outlet pipe 24 protruded to the bottom wall 22 of the case 20 and externally inserted with the filter element 40; a lid 50 capable of opening or closing the opening 24a of the outlet pipe 24; and an interlocking mechanism 60 to interlock the attaching and detaching motions of the filter element 40 to the outlet pipe 24 and the opening and closing motions of the opening 24a by the lid 50. |
