Online activity conducted via a user device is monitored. Usage information is recorded based on access by the user device to a first website via a network. Interaction information relating to an interaction that occurs via a social networking website different from the first website is recorded, based on access by the user device to the social networking website via the network. A summary of the online activity is generated based on the usage information and the interaction information. The summary is displayed on a display of the user device.

monitoring, by a user device, online activity conducted via the user device; recording, by the user device, usage information based on access by the user device to a first website via a network; recording, by the user device, based on access by the user device to a social networking website via the network, interaction information relating to an interaction that occurs via the social networking website, the social networking website being different from the first website; generating a summary of the online activity based on the usage information and the interaction information; and displaying the summary on a display of the user device.
