When a moving body is operated remotely, delays in the video and information obtained from the moving body present a problem. Furthermore, it cannot be expected that the operations will be transmitted to the moving body immediately. Furthermore, when the frame rate and the resolution are reduced by filtering the amount of video data so as to reduce the delays, there is a problem in that the operations of other moving bodies are more difficult to comprehend. In the present invention, with respect to the remote operation device and the moving body, even when the transmission of the camera images takes time and an obstructing body which is moving exists, the movement of the obstructing body and the movement of the moving body are predicted and a current image is generated on the basis of these predictions, and the current image is displayed on a monitor for the operator. Thus, it is possible to reduce instability and danger caused by transmission delays, thereby enabling safe and effective operations. |
