The invention relates to a method for washing and cleaning textiles, wherein A) a liquid composition containing one or more surfactants and one or more enzymes but no bleaching agents is added to the washing liquor containing water and the textiles to be washed and cleaned and B) one or more bleaching agents are metered into the washing liquor 15 to 30 minutes after the liquid composition is added to the washing liquor.
