PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boiler which can supply a suitable amount of combustion air according to a change of a combustion state.SOLUTION: A boiler 1 which can perform combustion by changing a combustion rate comprises: a burner 15 for burning fuel; a blower 20 having a fan and supplying combustion air to the burner 15 by rotating the fan; a damper 40 which is arranged between the burner 15 and the blower 20, and can be opened and closed at an angle in a prescribed range; and a control part 70 which controls an opening of the damper 40 and a rotation speed of the fan according to a change of a combustion rate. The control part 70 fixes the rotation speed of the fan at the combustion rate in a first range, controls a supply amount of the combustion air by the opening of the damper 40, and changes an opening/closing speed of the damper 40 so that the combustion rate in the first range becomes constant. |
