PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating apparatus which can perform coating even on a wall surface having level difference and a projection in a securely supported state without a scaffold and a rail.SOLUTION: A coating apparatus includes a first frame 3 for so supporting a spray gun 1 that the gun 1 can be reciprocally movable in a prescribed direction A, a second frame 5 which is engaged with the first frame and is relatively movable in a direction B orthogonal to the direction A, and frame relative displacement means 21 for moving the frame 5 in the direction B. Plural legs 29A-, 31A- projecting from the first and the second frames are provided in the frames, and a projection length of each leg from each frame is made to be adjustable. The tips of the legs are provided with suction parts 45A-, 47A- which can be sucked onto a surface of a structure, and suction control parts 54A-, 56A- for controlling suction/non-suction are connected to the suction parts. The suction control part can independently control suction/non-suction with respect to the suction part on the first frame side and the suction part on the second frame side. |
