PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device which achieves energy saving by enabling an operation with masses on an elevator car side and a counter weight side being in a nearly balanced state during an operation by making an adjustment weight circulate, and which prevents a drop impact from occurring when loading/unloading the adjustment weight.SOLUTION: A traction elevator device 1 includes: a load detection part for detecting a movable load of an elevator car 7; an adjustment weight 13 for adjusting balance of the elevator car 7 and a counter weight 8; an adjustment weight accommodation part 15 for accommodating the adjustment weight 13; a guide 14 for guiding the adjustment weight 13 in a vertical direction; an electromagnet 16 provided in the elevator car 7 and attaching/detaching the adjustment weight 13; an electromagnet movable part for moving the electromagnet 16; an electromagnet movable lane for guiding the electromagnet 16 in a horizontal direction; and an electromagnet control part for controlling electric conduction to the electromagnet 16 and the electromagnet movable part based on a signal by the load detection part. |
