PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent light emitted from display means for EVF provided in the optical path of an optical finder from becoming flare ghost light and reaching an eye.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises transmission type and double-sided light-emitting type display means 300 provided in the optical path of the optical finder and displaying an image from an imaging element 106 and selection means for selecting one of a first finder mode where framing is determined by the optical finder and a second finder mode where the framing is determined by the image displayed on the display means. Driving means for a movable mirror retractably disposed in the optical path of a photographic lens sets the movable mirror to a first angle being a standby angle at which the light from the photographic lens is guided to the optical finder, when the first finder mode is selected and sets the movable mirror to a second angle, so that the display image of the display means reflected by the movable mirror is not viewed from an eyepiece frame, when the second finder mode is selected. |
