The invention relates to a device and a method for machining running surfaces on head end pieces of revolving flats. The device has a base frame with a longitudinal axis and is provided with clamping means for fixing the revolving flat at at least two points distributed on the longitudinal axis. The device comprises two chip-removal machining means which are arranged outside the clamping means viewed in the direction of the longitudinal axis. A sliding guide is provided for accommodating the clamping means in the device. |
