PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of appropriately suppressing oxidative deterioration of a bead portion.SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire comprises: a toroidally elongated carcass; an inner liner arranged on an inner surface side of the carcass; and a wire chafer arranged on the opposite side of a bead core side of the carcass. The carcass is constituted of at least one ply made of a rubber-coated carcass cord. An inner end in a tire radial direction of the inner liner is positioned in a range of between 0 mm and 30 mm from a bead toe along an inner periphery of the tire. The winer chafer is made of a reinforcement cord coated with rubber and extends over a range from a first straight line connecting the inner end in the tire radial direction of the bead core to the bead toe through the inner end in the tire radial direction of the inner liner to a second straight line orthogonal to the inner periphery of the tire. Distance between the carcass cord and the reinforcement cord is set to 1.5 mm or more at least in the range from the first straight line to the second straight line. |
