PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical interferer which offers both temperature tenability and output temperature compensation.SOLUTION: An optical interferer comprises: two photocouplers 16 and 18; first and second arm optical waveguides 20a and 20b provided in parallel between the two photocouplers 16 and 18 to connect the same; a first port Pprovided at one photocoupler 16; and second and third ports Pand Pprovided at the other photocoupler 18. K phase adjustment regions 22-22K or 22a-22K (K is an integer of 2 or more) in total are provided along one or both of the first and second arm optical waveguides 20a and 20b. |
