PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it easy to perform a distortion measurement even when a plate width or an amount of a meander varies without damaging a surface of a plate.SOLUTION: A distortion measurement device 1 is the device that measures a distortion distribution in a plate width direction X of a belt-like plate 3. The distortion measurement device 1 comprises: a contactless type displacement meter 35 that measures amplitude of an oscillation of a plurality of plates 3 juxtaposed in the plate width direction X; a tracking mechanism (40 or 50); and a control device 60 that controls an operation of the tracking mechanism. The tracking mechanism comprises at least one of a meander tracking mechanism (40) and a plate width tracking mechanism (50). The meander tracking mechanism (40) causes a plurality of displacement meters 35 as a whole to move according to an amount (C) of a meander serving as an amount of a displacement in the plate width direction X of the plate 3. The plate width tracking mechanism (50) adjusts intervals among the plurality of displacement meters 35 according to a plate width V of the plate 3.
