PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data storage device capable of reducing the possibility that noise is superimposed on multimedia data.SOLUTION: A data storage device comprises: a storage section that stores multimedia data; a first communication section that outputs the multimedia data stored in the storage section exclusively to a multimedia data-compatible apparatus; a second communication section that is provided separately from the first communication section, and exchanges information with an external apparatus; and a connection control section that performs control so that the second communication section is electrically disconnected from or connected to a circuit section other than the second communication section. |
