PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic door which can smoothly and lightly open and close a door in a small moving region by a relatively simple structure, and is easy in the installation of a sensor for detecting the approach of a passenger without causing erroneous detection.SOLUTION: A pair of vertical bending/stretching link mechanisms 6 which are retractable in the lateral direction are attached to a box body which is arranged at a passage side. Each bending/stretching link mechanism 6 has a base end arm 7, and a tip arm 8 connected to the free end of the base end arm 7 so as to be bendable and stretchable, and a door 4 is connected to a tip of the tip arm 8. The vertical bending/stretching link mechanisms 6 are set in conflicting bending/stretching postures. The base end arm 7 is motion-connected to a drive member 2 so that the base end arm 7 oscillates and operates in a conflicting direction by the rotation of the drive member 12. Furthermore, there is arranged an arm linkage mechanism which oscillates the tip arm 8 in a direction reverse to a base end arm oscillation direction with respect to the base end arm 7 in conjunction with the oscillation of the base end arm 7. |
