PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device that achieves substantially uniform contact pressure in a longitudinal direction of a cleaning blade against an image carrier.SOLUTION: A wall surface member 19 comprises a fastening surface 19a with a cleaning blade holder 14 having an inclined shape, and the fastened cleaning blade holder 14 has a shape in a longitudinal direction with a recess in a central part with respect to an image carrier 1. With this configuration, when a cleaning blade 13 bonded to or formed integrally with the cleaning blade holder 14 fastened and held at both ends is brought into contact with the image carrier 1, relief of the contact pressure due to deflection in the central part in the longitudinal direction is corrected. |
