Fasteners are disclosed herein which resist loosening even when used in applications and environments where the fastener is exposed to vibration. In one form, a two piece fastener is used for connecting multiple workpieces. In another form, a simplified fastener is disclosed for quickly and easily connecting items. In yet another form, a plug type fastener is disclosed. Other fasteners and related methods are also disclosed herein.

1. A two piece fastener comprising:
a cap defining an opening therein; a sleeve disposed within the opening of the outer body and aligned coaxially with the outer body about a primary axis; a washer coaxially aligned with the cap and sleeve and connected to the sleeve; a cam operator inserted at least partially through a portion of the cup and sleeve and actuable to deflect the washer and apply force to the sleeve; a fractional turn component that can be turned a fraction to connect to a mating mount located on an opposite side of a workpiece to be fastened or secured, the fractional turn component having an externally threaded shank that can be thread into the sleeve; and a mating mount connected on the opposite side of the workpiece and having a structure for securing the mating mount to the opposite side of the workpiece.
