<p>Disclosed is a computer-implemented method for audience ID synchronization in a data management platform. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving a first redirect traffic from a first domain during a first browser session, in response to a web browser loading an embedded web object on a web page of the first domain; identifying a consumer user by searching through a cookie cache of the web browser to determine whether an unity identifier has been assigned in the cookie cache by the data management platform; in response to determining no unity identifier has been assigned to the consumer user, generating a cookie containing a new unity identifier and dropping the cookie in the cookie cache of the web browser; and synchronizing identifiers for the consumer user with a partner platform by updating a matching table of the identifiers with either the identified unity identifier or the new unity identifier.</p> |
