This power source (1) comprises multiple unit battery cells (11) stacked in parallel such that the positive electrodes (15) and the negative electrodes (16) of neighboring unit battery cells (11) are positioned on the same side on the top surface (13). One end of connecting conductors (30) is connected with a positive electrode (15) of one of neighboring unit battery cells (11), and the other end of the connecting conductors (30) is connected with the negative electrode (16) of the other of the neighboring unit battery cells (11), and a voltage detection conductor (17) is drawn out to the unit battery cells (11) on the side of the positive electrode (15) or on the side of the negative electrode (16).
