A liquid crystal display device is provided to control the difference of current or voltage minutely or selectively by equipping switches which are connected to pulse generating parts and a plurality of light sources. A liquid crystal display comprises a liquid crystal panel, 1~n light source array(130), a pulse generating part(112), and a channel switching section(114). 1~n light source array made of a plurality of light sources produces the light irradiated in the liquid crystal panel. A pulse generating part produces the AC voltage supplied to the 1~n light source arrays. A channel switching part selectively controls the period of AC voltage which is supplied 1~n light sources. |
