The present invention relates to an SMPS integrated LED lighting control device through an on and off switch and a control method thereof. The present invention accurately and quickly senses the operation of a power switch by integrating an SMPS with a dimming control module required for a device for dimming an LED lighting by sensing the operation of the existing power switch, and improves light efficiency by directly applying the output of the SMPS to the dimming control module without passing a power switch operation sensing circuit. The lifetime of an LED source unit is increased by improving the light efficiency. A failure rate and power consumption are reduced.
