PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine, a cylinder head and a piston capable of controlling deviation of an end gas to an intake valve side of a combustion chamber and reducing occurrence of knocking. SOLUTION: In an engine 1, a pair of projections 24 are disposed along with an inner wall surface of a combustion chamber 21 and projected from the inner wall surface into the center side direction of the combustion chamber 21 viewed from the sliding direction of a piston 6 so as to induct intake air flowing along with the inner wall surface of the combustion chamber 21 from the intake air flowed in when an intake valve 16 is opened to the center side direction of the combustion chamber 21 and the direction of propagation of fire in the combustion chamber 21 corresponds to the direction of intake air stream. Accordingly, the internal combustion engine is capable of controlling deviation of an end gas to the intake valve side of the combustion chamber and reducing occurrence of knocking.
