<p>The method of welding a flexible electric conductor having a rigid contact element made of metal and a rectangular cross-section using a connector (4) made of electrical conductive material, comprises attaching a first end (5, 6) of the connector to the electrically conductive conductor, attaching a fastening element (7) to the contact element, and welding the fastening element with the contact element, where the connector has a second end that is connected with the fastening element.
