The bearing (1) has an inner part (3) surrounded at a distance by an outer part (5), and a columnar-shaped elastomer body (7) arranged between the inner part and the outer part, where the elastomer body include an inner peripheral surface (13) and an outer peripheral surface (17). A binder layer (15) is arranged between the elastomer body and the inner part or between the elastomer body and the outer part. The peripheral surfaces of the elastomer body support the binder layer and form a joining surface for press-fit connection with the inner part or the outer part. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an elastomeric bearing.
