A barrow assembly 1 is disclosed that can be reconfigured for several uses. In a first configuration, the barrow mode comprises a receptacle 7 carried on a pair of wheels 5. In alternative configurations, the barrow is converted into a table (figure 6) or a bed (figure 9). The barrow comprises a central platform 6A which forms the base of a receptacle. Additional leaves 6B, 8A-F may be hingedly or slidingly attached to the central platform to form the sides of the receptacle or to form the table-top or bed. The barrow may be adapted to fold flat for storage and may comprise removable or foldable legs 3 and a retractable wheel assembly. A folding wheel assembly is also disclosed, where a pair of wheels is attached to a housing by hinged supports 4A and 4B. |
