The element (1) has a surface layer provided inside of the element and comprising a structure, which is produced through a pressing method, where the element has multiple foam layers. The surface structure comprises upright standing spring elements (6), which are provided with a plate-shaped surface (7). The spring elements comprise a cross section e.g. circle section, and are provided with upstanding outer walls, where basic shapes of the upstanding outer walls are superimposed by a waveform. Parts of the upright standing spring elements are connected with each other by a bar. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a multilayer cushion element.
