An integrated circuit such as an SoC can display a threshold battery status without powering on a considerable part including host processing cores. The SoC can include a micro-controller which can store threshold battery status data in a static memory. A display unit can search for such data in the static memory to display a visual symbol on a screen. While the threshold battery status is visually displayed on the screen, the other parts of the SoC such as a dynamic memory, a system agent, a media processor, and a memory controller hub can be powered down. |
