The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a light emitting apparatus to improve luminous efficiency by adhering a phosphor sheet comprising a light space portion and a phosphor layer on a light emitting diode chip, and the light emitting apparatus thereof. The present invention can increase light modulation efficiency by using the phosphor sheet with a hole in the bottom, also can position the phosphor sheet around a light emitting diode more conformally. The method can prevent a packaging process from becoming complicated by easily providing the phosphor sheet which includes the light space portion at the bottom by forming the hole on the first substrate. In addition, the present invention can enhance a light modulation effect by using two or more resins having different specific gravity as the resin of the phosphor mixture to induce a change in a refractive index of the light space portion and the phosphor layer.
