The invention relates to a sheath for multiple pipes, the sheath acting to hold the pipes together, and also providing protection for the pipes. The sheath (12) has a longitudinal axis (L-L), a first wall (28) defining a first channel (20) and a second wall (30) defining a second channel (22). The channels are configured to receive respective pipes (14, 16), and are substantially aligned with the longitudinal axis. The first wall and the second wall are discontinuous in cross-section whereby the respective pipe can be inserted into the channel in a transverse direction to the longitudinal axis. The invention also relates to a method of assembling a composite unit comprising a sheath and a plurality of pipes, and to an assembled composite unit. |
