<p>A hitch control system for a tractor which includes a force signal, to indicate the pull force necessary for an implement attached to a hitch, and a control which receives the signal and other inputs from the operator, which indicate the required operating condition of the implement. The system adjusts the vertical position of the hitch relative to the tractor in response to variations in the force signal in order to maintain the required operating condition of the implement. The system further includes a brake sensor which provides a signal to the control which overrides the force signal so there is no movement of the hitch during braking.</p> |
