A mobile terminal and a control method of the mobile terminal are disclosed. An embodiment of the present invention selects a handwriting sound source corresponding to a generated touch event from a memory when the touch event for a handwriting input is generated on a touch screen; and outputs feedback sound in real time, the feedback sound being generated by changing the sound properties of the selected handwriting sound source depending on the pressure and moving speed of touch applied to the touch screen. Therefore, an embodiment of the present invention provides reality to a user as the handwriting input is conducted in an actual analog environment and offers nostalgia and pleasure.
