PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen production method, a hydrogen producing device, and a fuel cell system, wherein it is possible to sufficiently suppress the poisoning and reduction in activity of a shift catalyst, a CO selective oxidation catalyst, an electrode catalyst of a fuel cell stack, and the like, which are arranged in the latter part of a steam reforming part in the fuel cell system, and sufficiently maintain the CO selectivity of the CO selective oxidation catalyst.SOLUTION: The hydrogen production method includes bringing a source gas containing nitrogen gas and a hydrocarbon compound into contact with a catalyst for steam reforming which supports at least nickel and platinum and/or palladium on a carrier containing an inorganic oxide, thereby obtaining a reformed gas containing hydrogen by steam reforming reaction while suppressing production of ammonia from the nitrogen gas. |
