In order to improve a method for reproducing a form of a surface region (12), in particular of a back region of a body of an organism, in particular of a horse, it is proposed that the form of the surface region is detected contactlessly relative to a reference using a detection unit (32), that data are produced in the process and are stored as a data set (DS), that the data set (DS) is used for setting an adjustable mechanical model (70), and that a model surface region (72) corresponding to the surface region (12) is produced by adjustable supporting area elements (82) of the mechanical model. |
