A liquid crystal display drive unit and a method for the same are provided, which can prevent the brightness disproportion and flicker by compensating the filling rate of the video signal. The liquid crystal panel(2) comprises a plurality of pixel regions. The data driver(4) operates the datalines of the liquid crystal panel. The gate driver(6) operates the gate lines of the liquid crystal panel. The timing controller(8) arranges video data which are input from outside and supplies it to data driver. The timing controller produces data and gate control signal and controls data driver and gate driver according to the control signal. |
