<p>A method and an apparatus for organizing information in an electronic address book (20). The method comprises collecting contact information (10) for an electronic address book (20), comparing a name from any field in said contact information (10) to a database (30) comprising name information, identifying a first name (40) or a surname (50) from the contact information (10) and relocating in the contact information (10) the identified first name (40) to a field assigned to first names or the surname (50) to a field assigned to surnames as a response to a name identified in a wrong field.</p> |
