PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system excellent for detecting the occurrence of a leak of gas to a housing chamber in a housing.SOLUTION: The fuel cell system comprises a housing 9 with a housing chamber 91, a ventilating inlet 92 and a ventilating outlet 93, a power generation module 3 with a stack 1 and a heat insulating part 30 covering the stack 1, an exhaust passage 75 for letting out exhaust from the power generation module 3 to the outside of the housing 9, a ventilating fan 98 disposed in the housing chamber 91, and a first temperature sensor 110 which detects a temperature T1 in the space outside the power generation module 3 and in the housing chamber 91. A controller 100 detects the occurrence of a leak of a hot gas from the power generation module 3 to the housing chamber 91, based on the temperature T1 in the housing chamber 91 detected by the first temperature sensor 110 during power generating operation of the stack 1. |
