摘要 The present invention relates to an apparatus for dropping the temperature of a brain or a procephalic lobe of stroke patients or patients having a cranioclasty using ice thermal storage and, more specifically, to an apparatus for dropping brain temperature using ice thermal storage which cools down a brain or a procephalic lobe to prevent brain damage such as cerebral edema in a hospitalization situation after stroke surgery or cranioclasty capable of inducing the brain damage and keeps the brain cool for a certain period of time even in case that a wall electric outlet is not available like moving a hospital room. The apparatus for dropping brain temperature using ice thermal storage according to the present invention is an apparatus for dropping brain temperature arranged in the cranium or incised endocranium of a patient, comprising: an ice storage chamber wherein a cooling agent is arranged; an infusion solution storage chamber wherein cooling infusion solution is arranged; a transfer tube having one end connected to the infusion solution storage chamber so as to transfer the cooling infusion solution; a transfer pump transferring the cooling infusion solution through the transfer tube; a heat change unit in which the transfer tube forms in a coiled-shape so as to cool down the cooling infusion solution by heat exchange with the cooling agent; and a cooling pad connected to the other end of the transfer tube.
