The present invention provides a non-liquid contact-type flow rate measurement system including a water level sensor that is disposed in a non-liquid contact manner in a conduit of a waterway and measures a water level of the conduit; a flow speed sensor that is disposed in a single housing integrally with the water level sensor in the conduit in a non-liquid contact manner and measures a flow speed of water which flows in the conduit; and a control module unit that collects the water level and flow speed measurement data which are measured by the water level sensor and the flow speed sensor at a previously set time interval, stores the water level and flow speed measurement data on a memory, calculates the volume of an actual sediment deposited in the conduit by a CFD characteristic function method by using the measured water level and flow speed measurement data, and calculates an actual flow rate of the conduit, and a method for controlling same. According to the present invention, a measurement value that is obtained from non-liquid contact-type sensors which are disposed on a conduit of an open channel is used so that the volume of the actual sediment deposited in the conduit is calculated by the CFD characteristic function method and the flow rate is measured with precision. Alternatively, a flow speed conversion factor and an average flow speed of the water that flows in the conduit are obtained for accurate flow rate calculation, and thus the flow rate can be measured with substantial accuracy regardless of an effect of surrounding environments where the sensors are disposed. Also, the water level and flow rate change in the conduit with respect to a bottom portion sediment are precisely calculated and reflected to flow rate measurement, and thus water flow rate management can be performed scientifically and precisely. |
